Once upon a quiet classroom, where lessons were taught and dreams were sown, lived a teacher with eyes full of purpose and a heart rooted deep in the soil of her homeland. What began as a routine life in education slowly blossomed into a calling—one that whispered of mountains, of forgotten traditions, and of women whose hands held generations of wisdom.
With nothing but a vision and relentless belief, she stepped away from the comfort of chalk and ink to follow the scent of wild herbs, flowers, and healing rituals passed down through Himalayan mothers. She listened to the silent language of the hills and heard stories in every leaf and petal.
Rosa Mystica India was born not just as a brand, but as a movement—to empower rural women, revive mountain wellness, and bring handcrafted purity into every home. Every product is a piece of that dream, a symbol of courage, craft, and conscious living.

Mary David: The Heart and Soul of Rosa Mystica

Born with a heart full of empathy and a vision larger than life, Mrs. Mary David has lived many lives in one — a globe-trotter, an educator, a nurturer, and above all, a changemaker.
With her husband serving in the Merchant Navy, Mary spent much of her early life navigating through solitude and strength, often raising a family while he sailed oceans. Yet, in those quiet, introspective moments, she discovered her voice — and the voices of many other women who needed to be heard.
Her career as a teacher in one of Dehradun’s most prestigious schools gave her a deeper insight into how education, compassion, and purpose can shape generations. Having travelled to countries across continents, witnessing cultures, wellness traditions, and women-led enterprises, Mary’s vision grew clearer: to bring meaningful change to her homeland by empowering the women of Uttarakhand.
The Birth of Rosa Mystica

In early 2016, Mary founded Rosa Mystica India, starting with just a handful of rural women and a dream to preserve Himalayan heritage through handcrafted, chemical-free wellness products.
Her journey wasn’t easy — but purpose has its own momentum. In 2019, she boldly stepped into the world of online commerce, building a bridge between remote mountain villages and the modern marketplace. During the pandemic, while many businesses struggled, Rosa Mystica not only endured but thrived, a testament to the collective spirit she nurtured.
Today, the brand stands as a beacon of hope, healing, and heritage — lovingly handmade by women, powered by nature, and led by a woman who turned life’s tides into waves of change.
